The family suggests memorials be given the Brethren in Christ Church of Abilene. Family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-7 P.M., at the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home in Abilene. Burial will follow at the Abilene City Cemetery in Abilene. Four granddaughters, Stephanie Steele and husband Beau, Kimberly Reinert and husband Jarrod, Sarah Brown and husband Eric and Amber Denny and husband Allen.

Rachel is survived by her two sons, Kenneth Book of Abilene and Glenn Book and wife Jean of Abilene. Rachel was a homemaker and a member of the Brethren in Christ Church in Abilene. On Decemshe was united in marriage to Paul Book.

She graduated High School from Messiah, Pennsylvania. She was born in Union City, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer Lydia (Hoke) Hoover. Rachel May Book, 92 of Abilene passed away Friday, Jat Memorial Hospital in Abilene. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shepherd’s Chapel Church, 102 8th Ave NE, Gravette, AR 72736. on Wednesday, July 6th, with Pastor Ron Bowell officiating.Ĭremation has been chosen and there will not be visitation. Survivors include her daughters, Marva Morgan, of Salina, Marcia, wife of John Blosser, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, and Amanda Foust, of Salina step daughters, Debi, wife of Cary Holcomb, of Manhattan, Kansas, and Jennifer, wife of Duce McConnell, of Wichita, Kansas step son, Bryan Baier, of Salina brother, Gary Farrar, of Salina step mother, Luci Farrar, of Overland Park, Kansas as well as 22 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Patricia was born in Salina, on August 9, 1949, to the late Dorothy (Navarrete) and Harley Farrar. Patricia Ann “Pat” Baier (Fetter Foust), 66, of Salina, passed away Thursday, June 30th, at Salina Regional Health Center.
